2. What the service is
Car Cupid is a comparison and information service. We help you search several third-party car marketplaces at once, we display live listings from eBay, we offer AI-generated suggestions of makes and models, and we publish editorial guides about buying and running a used car in the UK.
We are not a car dealer, broker, agent, insurer or finance provider. We do not own, inspect, hold, sell or deliver any vehicle. We are not a party to any contract you enter into with a seller or platform, and we have no role in the transaction.
3. Third-party listings and content
All vehicle listings, prices, photographs, specifications and seller details originate from third parties. We do not create, verify, inspect or endorse them. Listings can be inaccurate, out of date, withdrawn or sold, and prices change without notice.
You should always inspect a vehicle, obtain an independent history check, verify the seller, and satisfy yourself about the condition and legal status of any car before parting with money. Nothing on Car Cupid is a substitute for that.
Where a listing’s age or details cannot be confirmed from the advert, we flag it rather than presenting it as verified. That flag is a warning, not a guarantee about anything else in the listing.
4. AI-generated recommendations
The AI assistant produces suggestions using an automated language model. Its output is general information to help you start your search. It is not advice — not financial, legal, mechanical or insurance advice — and it is not personalised to your circumstances.
AI models can be wrong. Prices, year ranges, specifications and claims about particular models may be inaccurate or outdated. Always verify anything that matters before acting on it, and get proper professional advice where the decision warrants it.
5. Editorial content
Our guides are written for general information and reflect our understanding at the time of publication. Rules, prices, regulations and best practice change. We do not warrant that any article is current, complete or applicable to your situation, and none of it is professional advice.
6. Affiliate links

You may read, share and link to our content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish or exploit it commercially without our written permission.
Third-party trade marks, including those of the marketplaces we link to, belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on this site does not imply any partnership or endorsement beyond the affiliate relationships described in our Affiliate Disclosure.
10. Links to other websites
The site links to third-party websites, which we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. When you follow a link away from Car Cupid, that site’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Your rights in relation to a vehicle are against the seller who sold it to you.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies, and the “last updated” date shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
